Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Baner, Pune

.Job Summary: As a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3-5 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, CAD tools, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Create and refine mechanical designs for new products or systems, using CAD software (e.g., CREO)
• Develop detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design performance.
• Prototyping and Testing:
• Build and test prototypes to evaluate design functionality and performance.
• Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to improve design.
• Collaboration:
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to enhance product design.
• Problem-Solving:
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
• Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Project Management:
• Assist in project planning and scheduling to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Provide technical support throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering analysis tools and techniques (e.g., FEA, CFD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industry-specific standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of materials science and selection.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
