Job Overview
We are hiring an Accountant to join our team at MQS Technologies Private Limited. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify and resolve financial discrepancies
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for daily activities like preparing sales & Purchase invoices, payment entry, Journal entry, payment reconciliation, Bank reconciliation and Data import activities.
- Candidate must have minimum 2 yrs. of working experience in Tally ERP
- Hands-on experience on GST and TDS.
- Provide support during external audits and ensure all required documentation is available
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
