Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations to ensure compliance in export activities and to facilitate smooth trading operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for accurate document preparation and data management tasks.
  • Experience with export documentation software to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of preparing necessary export documents.
  • In-depth understanding of export documentation processes including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
  • Excellent organizational skills to keep all export-related documents correctly filed and easily accessible.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to thoroughly check and verify all documentation for accuracy before submission or dispatch.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, shippers, and other stakeholders regarding necessary export documentation.
  • Ability to work under deadlines, ensuring that all export documentation is prepared and submitted on time to avoid shipment delays.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process export documentation according to company and foreign government requirements for international shipments.
  • Ensure all export documentation complies with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
  • Maintain records of all export documentation submitted and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate and coordinate the export processes.
  • Resolve export documentation issues that may arise during the export process quickly and effectively.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes to enhance export documentation efficiency and effectiveness.
