We are seeking an experienced Educational Counselor to join our team at Motion Education Pvt Ltd. As an Educational Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting students in their educational journey. This is a full-time position based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 6 years of experience in educational counseling.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in education, Psychology, or a related field
• Proven experience of 2 to 6 years as an Educational Counselor
• In-depth knowledge of the education system and various competitive exams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to empathize with students and understand their individual needs

• Proficiency in using counseling techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with educational software and online learning platforms

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide personalized guidance and counseling to students regarding their educational goals and career aspirations
• Assist students in understanding the available courses and helping them make informed decisions about their academic journey
• Conduct counseling sessions to assess students' strengths, weaknesses, and interests
• Help students in selecting the appropriate courses and study materials based on their individual requirements.
• Keep abreast of the latest educational trends and updates to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students
• Handle inquiries from students and parents regarding course details, admission procedures, and fee structure
• Maintain records of counseling sessions, student progress, and other relevant information
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to provide a holistic learning experience to students
• Participate in educational events, workshops, and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote educational programs and attract potential students
