About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented PR Media Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining strong media relationships to enhance brand visibility and reputation for our portfolio of F&B and Retail clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Outreach:
• Develop and execute comprehensive media outreach campaigns across online and print publications (newspapers, magazines, online portals, blogs).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in the F&B and Retail sectors.
• Identify relevant media opportunities and pitch compelling stories to secure coverage.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze its impact.
• Content Creation:
• Draft press releases, media advisories, and other press materials.
• Create compelling media kits and presentations for clients.
• Develop and manage media lists and contact databases.
• Media Monitoring & Analysis:
• Track media coverage and analyze its impact on brand awareness and reputation.
• Prepare media reports and presentations for clients.
• Event Support:
• Coordinate media logistics for press conferences, product launches, and other events.
• Manage media attendance and ensure smooth media interactions during events.
• Newsletter Creation:
• Develop and curate engaging newsletters for media distribution, highlighting client news and industry trends.
• Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts through regular communication and networking.
• Understand media interests and trends to identify relevant story angles.
• Client Communication:
• Provide regular updates to clients on media coverage and campaign progress.
• Advise clients on media relations strategies and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships
• Experience in drafting press releases, media advisories, and other press materials
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and media monitoring tools
• Experience in the F&B and/or Retail industry is a plus
• Passion for the media and public relations industry
