Responsibilities:

• Custom Theme & Plugin Development: Build and customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet unique client requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Website Design & User Experience: Collaborate with designers to implement user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing WordPress websites that align with branding and functionality goals.
• Website Updates & Optimization: Perform regular updates, security patches, and troubleshooting to maintain website integrity, performance, and security.
• Third-Party Integrations: Integrate and maintain third-party tools, APIs, and services such as CRMs, email marketing platforms, and payment gateways within WordPress sites.
• Site Migrations & Redesigns: Manage smooth migration processes from one platform to WordPress or across WordPress environments, ensuring minimal downtime and SEO preservation.
• SEO Strategy & Implementation:
• On-Page SEO: Conduct detailed SEO audits and implement on-page optimization techniques such as keyword integration, internal linking, and content optimization to improve organic search rankings.
• Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to ensure content is optimized for both search engines and users, including meta tags, headings, and multimedia elements.
• SEO Tools Management: Use industry-leading SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Yoast SEO) to monitor and analyze website performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

• Shopify Store Setup & Customization: Set up and customize Shopify themes based on client specifications and create a seamless, user-friendly shopping experience for visitors.
• Shopify Store Performance Optimization: Enhance Shopify store performance by optimizing page load times, improving mobile responsiveness, and ensuring smooth checkout processes.
• Shopify App Integration: Integrate third-party apps and custom solutions into Shopify stores, such as payment processors, inventory management tools, and marketing apps, to meet business needs.
• E-commerce SEO for Shopify: Optimize Shopify stores with SEO best practices, including keyword optimization for product pages, category pages, and blogs to improve search rankings and visibility.
• Product Page Optimization: Work closely with the e-commerce team to optimize product descriptions, images, and reviews for SEO, improving both conversions and organic traffic.
• Cross-Platform Integration & Support:
• WordPress and Shopify Integration: Ensure smooth integration between WordPress websites and Shopify e-commerce platforms, providing clients with a seamless experience across their digital assets.
• Data Tracking & Analytics: Set up tracking for key performance metrics (e.g., conversions, traffic, bounce rates) and provide detailed reports to clients on SEO performance and site health.
• A/B Testing & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct A/B testing on landing pages and e-commerce stores to identify opportunities for conversion rate improvements and implement solutions accordingly.
• Collaboration & Client Communication:
• Client Consultation & Strategy Development: Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, offering expert advice on SEO strategies, WordPress development, and Shopify optimizations to achieve desired results.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing Teams: Collaborate with SEO, content, and PPC teams to align development with broader marketing strategies and ensure consistency across campaigns.
• Project Management & Timelines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and that work is delivered to a high standard and in line with client expectations.
• Client Training & Documentation: Provide training to clients on managing their WordPress or Shopify websites and SEO best practices, and create clear documentation for ongoing site management.

Requirement

Proven 1+ yr of experience as a WordPress Developer with SEO expertise and Shopify development knowledge.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.

In-depth understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and tools (Yoast SEO, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).

Experience working with Shopify, including theme customization, app integration, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile-first development principles.

Knowledge of website optimization techniques (speed, security, mobile UX).

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple platforms.

Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment and meet project deadlines.

Excellent communication skills to work directly with clients and the internal team.
