Job Location - Andheri West , Mumbai

The QDS will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models to support trading decisions, collaborating with the investment team to improve and optimize algorithms, and conducting backtesting of trading strategies to evaluate their performance.

·         Key Responsibilities:

o   Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.

o   Develop predictive models to support trading decisions.

o   Conduct backtesting of trading strategies to evaluate their performance.

o   Collaborate with the investment team to improve and optimize trading algorithms.

o   Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.

o   Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and quantitative finance.

o   Implement machine learning and statistical techniques to enhance trading strategies.

o   Utilize data mining techniques and tools like SQL, Hadoop, Spark, etc., for data processing and analysis.

·         Qualifications:

o   Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

o   Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, in the financial industry.

o   Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.

o   Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.

o   Expertise in data mining and familiarity with tools like SQL, Hadoop, Spark, etc.

o   Experience with data cleaning, data wrangling, and data visualization.

o   Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o   Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

o   Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the investment team.
