Role- Head of Operations


Preferred Work Experience:

 Minimum 8 years of experience with a leading institutional brokerage house in a similar role

 In-depth understanding of institutional stock broking business and its facets like IT/infrastructure, risk management, operations and compliance.

 Experience in managing and working with multiple teams.

 Leadership and diligence.

 Comfortable working in a setup of a small, dynamic, growing organization that is continuously evolving. 


Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational efficiency: optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Streamlining trading operations, settlement processes, and back-office functions to ensure seamless execution of trades. Overseeing day to day operations of the company

2. Risk Management: Oversee risk management to mitigate all kinds of risks involved in broking operations. Implementing risk assessment frameworks. Monitor client trading related risks.

3. Technology and Infrastructure: Responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of trading platforms, order management systems, and other technological infrastructure to support trading activities efficiently.

4. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Work closely with compliance team to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, such as those set forth by regulatory authorities.

5. Financial Management: Playing a role in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial planning. They may work closely with the accounts team to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.

6. Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the executive committee for strategic planning initiatives aimed at driving business growth and expansion.

7. Human Resource and Administration: Overseeing the HR and Admin teams to ensure meaningful performance management, performance reviews, feedback and trainings.
