One of the largest broking houses based out of Bangalore is hiring for  experienced and dynamic AVP Finance .


 He will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial planning and ensuring the smooth functioning of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in finance and accounting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to make strategic decisions to support the company's growth.


Preferred Qualification:

• CA or M Com and above with experience in Capital Markets.

• 10+ years of experience in the Accounts Domain, with 3-5 years of minimum experience as a AVP Finance or role equivalent to it. 


Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Perform risk management by analysing the organization’s liabilities, investments, and overall goals.

• Develop investment strategies, taking into account the cash and liquidity risks.

• Oversee fundraising plans and capital structure, ensuring appropriate cash flow for the organization's operations.

• Manage the financial team consisting of Account managers, and other finance personnel.

• Ensuring compliant with laws and company policies.

• Prepare reliable and accurate financial reports, including current and forecasting reports.

• Lead the auditing and reporting processes from end-to-end.

• Accountable for all types of fund-raising efforts for business growth, if required.

• Ensure proactive and thorough financial planning and analysis throughout the year. Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Financial Officer, Controller, AVP Finance or relevant role.

• In-depth knowledge of financial services accounting, reporting, and management practices.

• Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.

• Proficient in the use and application of various RPAs and financial software.

• Ability to strategize and solve problems.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and people management skills.

• An analytical mind and comfortable with numbers.

• Experience in preparing accurate financial reports, analyzing financial data, and implementing internal financial controls.

• Experience in preparing budgets, streamlining accounts functions, implementing reconciliation automation, and using analytical tools to give insights to management.

• Experience in coordinating internal and statutory audits, highlighting financial risk factors to management, and treasury management.
