Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Android Java Developer to join our team at Modus Enterprise Transformation Platform. As an Android Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications using the Java programming language.

Familiarity with mobile app and development including the use of hardware such as accelerometer, cameras and gyroscopes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in Java programming
• Proficiency in Android SDK
• Familiarity with Android debug bridge and emulators.
• Knowledge of Flutter and Kotlin is a plus
• Experience with SQLite and Google Play services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications using the Java programming language
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize performance and ensure the best user experience
• Debug and fix issues reported by users or testers
• Contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and tools
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development

Understanding of common programming tools and paradigm such as version control, use of framework and common design pattern.

Comfortable working as apart of cross functional team and with code written by others, including bug fixing and refectory legacy code.
