Roles and Responsibilities: • Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that efficiently move, transform, and load data from various sources to data storage solutions in the cloud. • Cloud Infrastructure: Set up and manage cloud infrastructure for data processing and storage, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Goodatgle Cloud. • Data Modelling: Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and structures to support data analytics and reporting requirements. • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Create and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and timeliness. • Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and external data feeds. • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data processing and storage systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. • Data Security: Implement data security measures, including encryption, access controls, and data masking, to protect sensitive information. • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data engineering processes, data lineage, and best practices. • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software developers to ensure data solutions meet business requirements Desired Candidate Profile: • 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in cloud-based data engineering. • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including relevant services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Dataflow). • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and transformation. • Expertise in data modelling, SQL, and database technologies (e.g., SQL databases, NoSQL databases). • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Apache Beam). • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery). • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. • Technical certifications will be plus. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
