Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geologist for a full-time executive position based in Mangaluru or Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will bring extensive geological expertise and a passion for fieldwork to support MMPL's mining and production processes. Qualifications and Skills

• Geological Mapping (Mandatory skill)
• Geophysical Surveying (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in Stratigraphy Analysis to interpret rock layer information for various mining and production needs.
• Experience in Geochemical Analysis to determine the composition and suitability of mining materials.
• Skilled in Remote Sensing for the efficient collection and interpretation of geographic data.
• Competence in Geological Modeling to create accurate representations of subsurface geology.
• Strong Field Work Management skills to oversee and ensure the quality of all field operations.
• Excellent Report Writing skills to document findings and provide actionable insights.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological mapping and geophysical surveys to identify and assess mineral deposits.
• Perform comprehensive stratigraphy and geochemical analyses to support production quality.
• Utilize remote sensing and geological modeling techniques to forecast and plan mining activities.
• Manage and lead field teams in collecting and analyzing geological samples and data.
• Prepare detailed geological reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize mining processes and ensure quality control.
• Stay updated with the latest geological and technological advancements to implement effective mining strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and organizational policies.
