Job Overview

We are hiring a Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises and personnel. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling the assigned areas, checking for any suspicious activity, and taking appropriate action to maintain a secure environment. This is a Mid-Level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, India, and the employment type is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Security Guard, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
• Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Excellent observation and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to withstand long periods of standing and walking
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Basic computer skills for monitoring and reporting purposes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security license/certification

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and detect unauthorized access or suspicious activities
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Maintain a visible presence to deter wrongdoing and provide a sense of security
• Perform regular inspections of security equipment and report any issues
• Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report any security breaches
• Handle emergency situations and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary
• Document incidents and write detailed reports
• Conduct safety drills and train employees on security protocols
