Location: SURAT, Gujarat, India

15 to 20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Lead the HR team to support the business's short and long-term objectives.
- Drive a high-performance culture by setting clear objectives and performance metrics.
Manpower Management:
- Oversee HR operations for a workforce of over 10,000 employees.
- Ensure efficient workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Manage and optimize manpower utilization to meet production and business needs.
Labour Law Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations and resolve conflicts in accordance with legal requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in labour laws and implement necessary adjustments.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Promote a positive work environment through effective employee engagement programs.
- Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
HR Systems and Analytics:
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to make informed decisions and improve HR processes.
- Implement and manage HR information systems to streamline operations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Employee Relations and Communication:
- Foster effective communication channels between management and employees.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly.
- Organize and oversee employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 15 to 20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing plant.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and compliance.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale manpower.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
