Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Utility Operator with a background in the pharmaceutical industry to oversee the operations of our water treatment plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and operating water treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing processes to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain water treatment equipment, including reverse osmosis systems, ion exchange units, and filtration systems.
• Monitor water quality parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of utility operations with production schedules.
• Train and mentor junior operators to enhance their skills and knowledge in utility operations.
• Document all maintenance activities, equipment readings, and operational procedures accurately.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize utility operations and reduce costs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing water treatment operations, such as FDA and EPA guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
