Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Car Sales Team Leader to lead our dynamic sales team at our busy car dealership showroom. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales performance while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including setting sales goals, monitoring performance, and conducting regular coaching and training sessions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue. Collaborate with management to set sales goals and objectives.
- Customer Interaction: Assist sales team members in engaging with customers effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and closing sales deals.
- Sales Process: Oversee the sales process from initial customer contact to closing the sale, ensuring that team members follow best practices and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
- Training and Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions to improve the product knowledge and sales skills of team members. Ensure that all team members are up-to-date on the latest car models, features, and financing options.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales team performance metrics, such as conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and individual sales targets. Implement corrective actions as needed to achieve goals.
- Documentation: Review and approve sales contracts, financing applications, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with dealership policies.
- Customer Relations: Handle escalated customer inquiries and concerns, working to resolve issues promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in car sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership experience in a sales or automotive environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in automotive features, specifications, and financing options.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
