Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) with a strong background in the FMCG sector, specifically in dry fruit products and modern trade. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in managing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and building relationships with key stakeholders in the modern trade channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Oversee and manage sales operations within the assigned territory, focusing on modern trade channels.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the dry fruit segment.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
- Product Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and product launches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role such as ASM or Senior Sales Executive.
- Strong experience in the FMCG industry, particularly in dry fruit products and modern trade.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a sales team effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
