Roles and Responsibilities:  

Manage both on-premises Kubernetes and manage cloud based K8s clusters. 

Design and implement from scratch a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, GitHub Action and webhooks. 

Configuring Kubernetes auto provisioning, and auto scaling of CI/CD job/build agents/runners/nodes. 

Optimize the development environment using docker, configuring Ingress Controller(s)/Gateway APIs (Nginx or other). 

Strong System Admin experience utilizing Configuration as Code, with tools such as ansible, puppet, chef. 

Linux systems administration 

Required skills: 

At least 1 years of experience years as a DevOps Engineer. 

Experienced in Kubernetes (GKE, AKS, EKS) administration and operations. 

Solid experience in K8s ingress controllers/Gateway APIs. 

Hands-on experience in using minikube, kind, k3s etc on local infrastructure. 

Setting up monitoring of K8s using Prometheus/Grafana etc. 

Expertise in managing containers (docker, podman etc), docker compose etc. 

Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows, CI/CD using GitHub actions, Jenkins etc. 

Creation of Helm charts and deployment. 

Good knowledge of Golang, JavaScript or Python. 

Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and SQL. 

Linux OS administration a value add. 

Experience with any API Gateway products or Envoy proxy a huge plus. 

IAAC tools like Terraform, Ansible or Chef. 

Problem-solving attitude. 

Collaborative team spirit. 

Experience in customer experience and excellent communication skill.
