The Business Development Manager – Corporate Solutions Group will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring, managing, and retaining corporate clients for the firm’s insurance broking services. This role requires a proactive, client-focused professional with strong knowledge of corporate insurance solutions and a proven ability to achieve sales targets. The individual will work closely with the team to deliver tailored insurance programs that meet clients’ risk management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Acquisition:
  • Identify, approach, and secure new corporate clients across various industries for insurance broking services
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive networking, prospecting, and referrals.
  • Conduct needs analysis to understand clients’ business risks and insurance requirements.
  1. Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential corporate clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact, ensuring timely communication and resolution of client concerns.
  • Regularly engage clients to upsell or cross-sell relevant insurance products.
  1. Tailored Solutions:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and present customized insurance solutions, including property, liability, employee benefits, and other coverage options.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  1. Market Intelligence:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate the firm’s offerings in the market.
  1. Revenue Generation:
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the Corporate Solutions Group.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on progress to senior management.
  1. Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all client interactions, agreements, and transactions adhere to regulatory and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience in corporate insurance broking is highly preferred.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Solid understanding of insurance products and corporate risk management solutions.
  • Familiarity with underwriting and claims processes is a plus.
