Why this role? Why now?

Privado is rapidly scaling, and they’re currently looking to hire their first-ever Customer Success Manager. You will be responsible for building up Privado’s CS processes and playbook from the ground up in collaboration with the founders and the rest of the team.


Who You Are

  • You understand technology and are comfortable engaging with security leaders on technical things.
  • You are comfortable being the first CSM on the team and working with the founders to define the customer success playbook and not expect a playbook.
  • You have been involved in SaaS implementation, running pilots, and working with customers on hitting their business goals
  • Comfortable working in EU/US timezones and customers

What You'll Do

You will be the first person on our customer success team. Your role will be to ensure our customers are successful with Privado and time to value is less.


  • Own the complete customer journey from assisting sales teams in pilots, onboarding & renewals
  • Ensure smooth and fast onboarding of the customers by the successful implementation of the Privado with a focus on reducing the Time to Value
  • Act as a product consultant to customers: Work with customers to define the proper workflow, configure the product & enable integrations for adoption
  • Proactively ensure customers are getting successful with Privado by looking at usage data, doing regular checks & working with customers to realize their goals
  • Conduct Strategic Business Reviews (EBRs and QBRs) to understand customer lifecycle milestones, communicate the value of our product, showcase ROI,
  • Communicate and brain-storm with the product team on customer feedback and help refine the product roadmap
  • Work with the marketing team to execute customer surveys, case studies, etc
  • Drive customer advocacy through reviews, testimonials, and customer meetups and create a center of excellence within the customer's organization

What You'll Bring

  • 2-5 years of work experience with a startup in a customer-facing role involving SaaS Product Implementation, Project Management, Technical Problem Solving, and Technical Support.
  • Good presentation & communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, a love for complex datasets, and an ability to extract actionable insights from datasets.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good collaboration skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • An ability to understand business problems, think of solutions, and also effectively communicate the same. Excellent communication and listening skills Self-motivation, and a drive to do better.
  • Bachelors or Masters's degree. An equivalent diploma certificate will work as well.
  • Privacy certifications like CIPM, CIPP/E, or experience with other privacy tools will be a positive
