The Market Research Procurement Specialist is responsible for procuring market research services and products that align with the strategic needs of the organization. This role involves identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with market research vendors to secure high-quality data and insights necessary for informed business decisions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Vendor Identification and Evaluation:
  • Identify and evaluate potential market research vendors.
  • Conduct due diligence to ensure vendors meet company standards for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.


  • Negotiation and Contract Management:
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with market research vendors.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.


  • Procurement Process Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for market research services and products.
  • Create and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Track and manage the budget for market research purchases.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including market research, marketing, and product development teams, to understand and fulfill their data needs.
  • Facilitate regular communication between internal teams and external vendors.


  • Market Analysis and Research:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in market research procurement.
  • Ensure the acquisition of the most relevant and up-to-date market research data.


  • Quality Assurance:
  • Evaluate the quality and relevance of market research data provided by vendors.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.


  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all purchases, contracts, and vendor interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance metrics.


Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.


  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, market research purchasing, or a related field. Experience in a corporate environment is preferred.


  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and market research skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
