Job Description:

Job Title: Design Engineer

Location: Pollachi

Experience: 2 to 4 years 

Shift: Rotational Shift

Education Qualification:

 BE – Mechanical/ Automobile

Required skills and experience:

• CAD tool experience in Surface and Sheet metal and Casting Modelling from any of the CAD tool (Creo, UG-NX, Catia)

• Design knowledge of the components on the area of experience. 

• Material knowledge & Manufacturing process knowledge (especially on experience area)

• Knowledge of product development and release of TcAE and product life cycle management

• Preparation of engineering drawings for the projects to include: preliminary design, calculations, GD&T and manufacturing feasibility

• Should be Dynamic in working based on Project importance & individual working ability

• Preference would be given to those who have worked in multiple disciplinary & Reverse engineering projects esp. from OEM / Tier 1

• Preference would be given to those who have created CAD by using stl files (Cloud points data)

• Good communication and collaboration skills

Roles & Responsibilities: 

At the Role of Design Engineer responsible for,

• Detailed input study for the allocated components

• Self-estimation for the allocated component

• Work on the CAD software for creation of 3D/2D models

• Self-quality check and Check list completion

• Delivery document preparation

• TcAE upload and release the model

• Entry of worksheet day to day

• Support team members on Tool/Technical

Good to have:

• Automobile back ground

• More exposure in surface/Casting modelling.
