- Introduction:
- We are seeking a talented IIoT Engineer to develop and integrate Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions for automation systems. This role involves PLC programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta), industrial communication protocols, PostgreSQL database management, and troubleshooting industrial devices. Additionally, you will work with basic industrial cameras (HIKEROBOT, Keyence, Cognex) to ensure seamless integration with automation systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial networking, automation, and real-time data processing.
- Key Responsibilities:
- IIoT System Development & Integration
- Design and implement IIoT architectures for industrial automation.
- Integrate industrial sensors, PLCs (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta), SCADA, and smart devices for real-time monitoring and control.
- Develop edge computing and local data processing solutions for industrial applications.
- Industrial Automation & PLC Programming
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal, Mitsubishi GX Works, Delta DVP/AS Series).
- Implement SCADA/HMI solutions for process visualization and control.
- Optimize industrial processes through automation and predictive analytics.
- Communication Protocols & Data Management
- Implement and manage industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
- Ensure reliable machine-to-machine (M2M) communication for seamless automation.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases for industrial data logging, storage, and analysis.
- Computer Vision & Industrial Cameras
- Work with basic industrial cameras (HIKEROBOT, Keyence, Cognex) for defect detection and quality control.
- Integrate vision systems into PLC and automation setups for real-time monitoring.
- Implement basic image processing techniques for industrial applications.
- Troubleshooting & Device Support
- Diagnose and resolve issues with industrial devices, including printers, barcode scanners, and label applicators.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, PLC hardware failures, and peripheral device malfunctions.
- Maintain and repair automation-related hardware and peripherals in industrial settings.
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in IIoT, industrial automation, and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of PLC platforms (Siemens TIA Portal, Mitsubishi GX Works, Delta DVP/AS Series).
- Expertise in industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
- Experience with basic industrial cameras (HIKEROBOT, Keyence, Cognex) and their integration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial printers, scanners, and automation hardware.
- Experience with PostgreSQL for industrial data management.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and industrial system integration.
- Familiarity with industrial networking and cybersecurity best practices.
