Job Description:

As a Ruby Developer, you will be a responsible for:

• Providing enhancements to the application platform with specific emphasis on sound fundamental development methodology in Ruby on Rails.

• Develop responsive, high performing web applications using modern techniques and frameworks as well as write tests and perform code reviews in a dynamic, fast paced agile environment.

• Participating in the Regeneron team’s effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire development process.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of development experience with Ruby on Rails, with at least 1 year of experience working supporting application in production.

• 3-5 years of development experience with MongoDB (or other NoSQL DBs)

• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related fields)

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and REST APIs

• Understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and external APIs

Preferred Skills

• Exposure and experience to AWS, Solr and Selenium, Mango DB Docker,  Kubernates, Travis , Lamada 

• Background in healthcare

• Containerization Concepts, Docker, Kubernetes

• Experience with Angular 2 or JavaScript

• Agile Methodology
