Job Overview

We are seeking a Career Counsellor Trainee to join our team at Mere Mentor. As a Career Counsellor Trainee, you will assist young minds, especially students, in finding the right career path through our game-based career assessment system. You will provide personalized career guidance to students from 7th to 12th grades, as well as UG and working professionals. This is a full-time position based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fresher with less than 1 year of experience in career counseling
• Strong knowledge of career counseling principles and techniques
• Understanding of psychology and child counseling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct effective individual and group counseling sessions
• Passionate about helping students achieve their career goals

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist students in taking our game-based career assessments
• Analyze the results of career assessments and provide personalized career guidance
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' career-related anxieties
• Build students' confidence by engaging in regular interactions, podcasts, and webinars
• Identify students' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats through SWOT analysis
• Connect students with role models, arrange for scholarships, and provide loan guidance
• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the field of career counseling
