We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Career Counsellor to join our team at Mere Mentor. As a Career Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing career guidance and support to students from 7th to 12th grades, as well as UG and working professionals. This is a remote position with the job location in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field
• Strong knowledge and understanding of career counseling principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to empathize with students and understand their career-related challenges
• Previous experience in clinical psychology or career counseling is a plus
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using technology platforms for remote counseling sessions
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• Passionate about helping students achieve their career goals
• Knowledge of management principles for effective mentorship

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide career counselling sessions to students, UG, and working professionals
• Assess the natural abilities and core preferences of individuals using our game-based career assessment system
• Help students make informed career decisions based on the assessment results
• Guide students in choosing the right educational paths, colleges, and courses
• Connect students with role models and industry experts for mentorship
• Assist students in availing scholarships and provide loan guidance
• Conduct SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
• Build confidence and overcome anxieties of aspiring individuals
• Deliver online webinars and counseling sessions to a diverse audience across the country
• Stay up-to-date with the latest career trends and advancements in the field
