Job Description: QA Engineer (Full Stack & Web3)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about blockchain technologies and has experience in testing full-stack applications and decentralized applications (DApps). The successful candidate will be involved in the development lifecycle of various blockchain projects, ensuring the highest quality standards in our software releases.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure that all objectives are met and that the software works as expected.
• Test software in stages of development; across front-end, back-end, and blockchain layers, including integration scenarios, functionality, scalability, and performance.
• Blockchain and DApps Testing:
• Work with cutting-edge blockchain technologies to test different DApps and smart contracts on various blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and others.
• Validate all aspects of blockchain transactions from the user interface through to the blockchain layer and ensure integration works as expected across distributed systems.
• Automation and Manual Testing:
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Perform thorough manual regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and timelines.
• Monitor debugging process results and provide feedback to developers.
• Participate in the design and development of test automation and support.
• Documentation:
• Maintain relevant documentation for test cases, tools, and processes.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience (3+ years) as a QA tester or similar role in full-stack environments.
• Experience with blockchain technology, smart contracts, and familiar with Ethereum, Solidity, or other blockchain platforms.
• Experience in QA methodology and tools, and agile methodologies.
• Technical hands-on experience with both automated testing and manual testing.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
