You take responsibility for the installation, operation and further development of the complete backup solutions within our IT landscape

Administration and monitoring of backup components such as IBM Spectrum Protect, Veeam, Power Scale and a tape library

You advise our customers according to their requirements and work closely with our specialist departments as well as external service providers and partners

Your tasks include creating documentation of the operated environments (operating concepts, descriptions, solution designs) and supporting the processing of inquiries and fault reports as well as their documentation in the ticket system (incident, problem and change management).

This is what you bring with you:

You have a university degree in (business) information technology or completed IT training with many years of practical experience

You have very good knowledge of the administration of complex backup and storage environments as well as knowledge of the network, server and virtualization environment

You have experience in holistic error analysis in the 3rd level environment with a focus on the backup environment
