Medihakeem Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated OPD Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The OPD Staff Nurse will be responsible for assisting in outpatient care, managing patient flow, providing clinical support to physicians, and ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to patients attending the outpatient department (OPD). This role demands excellent nursing skills, a compassionate attitude, and effective communication to ensure smooth patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient check-ins, take vital signs, and document patient history.
  • Assist doctors during OPD procedures, and treatments.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the doctors.
  • Ensure timely follow-up with patients and coordinate appointments.
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and medication instructions.
  • Maintain proper documentation of patient care and clinical records.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of the OPD area and equipment.
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth patient flow and discharge.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid nursing license and registration.
  • Minimum of 6 Months of experience in an OPD or clinic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and attentive to details.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in handling electronic health records (EHR).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in providing patient education and post-treatment follow-ups.
