Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at MBPS Constructions. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately estimating and controlling the costs of construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. The ideal candidate for this role should have 1 to 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and possess strong skills in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, Cost Management, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and cost control techniques
• Proficient in using AutoCAD for quantity take-offs and cost calculations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine the overall project cost
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure they align with budgetary constraints
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize project costs and value engineering
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Prepare detailed progress reports and financial forecasts for construction projects
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and identify any cost variations
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and building codes
• Utilize AutoCAD software to assist in quantity take-offs and cost calculations
