Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in

ABAP programming. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and

implementing complex ABAP solutions, particularly in the areas of FI (Financial Accounting), MM

(Materials Management), and Warehouse Management modules. The role requires expertise in web

services, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently while engaging

professionally with clients and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• ABAP Development: Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs based on functional

specifications. Ensure high-quality coding and adherence to best practices.

• Module Expertise: Work extensively with SAP FI, MM, and Warehouse Management

modules to create and enhance functionalities as required.

• Web Services Integration: Develop and maintain web services using SOAP, REST, and HTTP

POST protocols for seamless integration with external systems.

• Complex Programming: Implement and manage complex ABAP programming tasks,

including but not limited to enhancements, reports, forms, and data migration.

• Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of ABAP programs to

ensure accurate and efficient performance. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely

solutions.

• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to

support ABAP development efforts and facilitate future maintenance.

• Client and Team Interaction: Maintain effective communication with functional teams and

leads. Build and sustain professional relationships. Engage with clients as needed to

understand requirements and provide technical support.

• Problem Solving: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to independently

resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming with a strong

background in SAP FI, MM, and Warehouse Management modules.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ABAP development, including enhancements, reports, and

interfaces. Experience with web services (SOAP, REST, HTTP POST) is essential.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to

troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to

convey technical information clearly and engage professionally with stakeholders.

• Documentation: Experience in creating detailed technical documentation to support

development processes and project requirements.

• Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing

multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or additional training in SAP modules (FI, MM, Warehouse Management).

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other advanced SAP technologies.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
