We are looking for an innovative solution architect to develop and implement systems

architecture that will meet business needs. The solution architect’s responsibilities

include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current

software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and

overseeing development teams. You should also be able to regularly update the

company on any developments in systems architecture projects. Candidates who

understand or have experience in the GovTech Line of Business have an added

advantage. Experience working with teams on Cloud based architecture is preferable.

● Responsible for Architecting and Designing a secure cloud platform based on

industry standards, best practices and guidelines.

● Help build an architecture that is scalable, performant, resilient, secure and cost

effective

● Provide High level architecture, Design and oversee Implementation the cloud

products based on best Practices

● Researches new technologies and products for their applicability to business needs.

● Coming up with technical standards for code and specifications for the design.

● Analysing integration aspects of various 3rd party products and coming up with

integration design and strategy.

● Review the current architectural landscape and make appropriate recommendations.

● Must be able to compare various solutions and determine the one which best fits the

need.

● Deliver on supervision and guidance to development teams.

● Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes

where needed.

● Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and

budgets.

Education:

● A Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in

Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related

scientific or technical discipline.

● 3-5 years of work experience in the architecture and design

Experience:

● This position requires a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT industry

● At least 3 years of experience working with Architecture, design and implementation

of systems and applications at Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud platform

● Experience writing process requirements, technical design documents, and standard

operating procedures.

● Experience collaborating with cross-functional global and remote teams with diverse

backgrounds.

● Demonstrating good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

● Strong knowledge of software design principles and practices.

Enterprise Architect:

We are looking for a detail-oriented enterprise architect whose responsibilities

include improving the current IT infrastructure, optimizing business operations, and

setting the direction and approach for integrating information applications and

programs. The enterprise architect is also responsible for cataloging, developing,

coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise

architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to

adequately perform the organization's business and technology activities. Preferable

skills and expertise include cloud computing, system architecture, strategy

development and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

● At least 3 years of experience working with Architecture, design and implementation

of systems and applications at Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud platform.

● First-hand working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practices, stacks, and styles

● Experience writing process requirements, technical design documents, and standard

operating procedures.

● Experience collaborating with cross-functional global and remote teams with diverse

backgrounds.

● Demonstrating good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

● Strong knowledge of software design principles and practices.

● Knowledge of JS frameworks.

● AWS/Any cloud/TOGAF certifications will be an added advantage

● Product and Platform building experience will be preferred
