Roles & Responsibilities

The role of a logistics manager is crucial in overseeing the movement of goods, managing transportation, and optimizing the supply chain. Here are some common tasks and duties of a logistics manager:

Customs and Compliance: Documentation for Exports and Imports and execution. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs procedures for cross-border shipments for Imports and Exports, Coordination with Custom Agents, and Customs Department. 

Transportation Management: Shipping & Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Negotiation and Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and manage vendor relationships to ensure service level agreements are met.

Supply chain management encompasses a wide range of roles and responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective flow of goods and services from the point of origin to the final consumer. Here are some of the key roles and responsibilities involved in supply chain management:

Planning and Forecasting: Develop and implement strategies for demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production scheduling to meet customer needs while minimizing costs.

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers. Maintain good relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.

Purchasing and Procurement: Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services at the best possible prices and terms.
