Job Summary

Needs to have a wealth of prior knowledge running and developing for pastry & chocolate kitchens.The chef will be tasked with constantly mutating the current variants to optimize kitchen operations and in developing seasonal variants.

Core Responsibilities:-

Accountable for overall success of the daily pastry/chocolate kitchen operations. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Supervises all pastry/chocolate areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved. Areas of responsibility comprise overseeing all pastry/chocolate preparations.

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities:-

● Hire, train and supervise CDP’s and commi’s in conjunction with sous chef.

● Should carry an experience leading a team of 10-12 chef’s including sous, CDP and commi chef.

● Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position and monitor the same from time to time.

● Plan efficient kitchen operations to keep up with the demand of the orders

● Monitor the team in following SOPs provided by the company and optimize them for efficiency.

● Review staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives.

● Monitor daily and weekly requirements of raw material orders by the team.

● Monitor the operations of the kitchen to make sure food wastage is minimized

● Oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality standards are meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis
