ROLES & RESPONSBILITIES:

This is a vital role, in improving OIC’s market position and business growth. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will focus on establishing, maintaining and building relationships with Orange International College representatives/agents, identifying new business opportunities while maintaining awareness of current market conditions.

·       Provide information to prospective students / agents on the admissions process and courses including assistance with the process

·       Recruit student directly or indirectly from targeted countries by liaising with onshore & offshore education agents to achieve the targets

·       Develop wide network of agents in targeted countries and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including agents, partners, pathway providers and student counsellors.

·       Manage the admission/enrolment process to ensure eligible students are recruited and appropriately placed in the courses offered by OIC.

·       Responsible for assisting agents with Course Offers and Agreement (Enrolment) of clients (Students) on timeline, induction and orientation of various courses to students.

·       Support with the preparation of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, social media and websites

·       Regular market visits to manage agents

·       Promote the OIC’s brand by maintaining good relationships with staff, agents, OIC’s partners and students

·       Represent for Orange International College (OIC) in education exhibitions and other events as required

·       Assist in selection, management and training of agents in accordance with OIC’s requirements, inclusive of product promotion & distribution, campus networking, events, etc.

·       Employee in this position understand and assist agent requirement as per market trends, provides staff training, explanation about OIC’s product (goods and services), advises unique selling points, help in advertisement by agents by understanding their marketing needs (script writing, artwork, design etc. to support promotion) within time and budget constraints

·       Communicate with relevant agencies / consultants within Australia and overseas, which includes cold calling

·       Support implementing sale and marketing activities such as public relations & Advertising, as well as strategies for new or changes products

·       Conduct market research and analysis with focus to target countries which contributes to the strategic plan of marketing activities and products

·       Answering all the enquiries about Orange International College (OIC) services which may arise from social media, website, web forms, phone calls, through a reference, direct student, agents, etc. All the information of the inquiry requires to be maintained on a CRM/Wise.NET by adding all the information and a proper follow up is been done.

·       It is a responsibility for quoting and finalising the agent contract/agreement with terms and conditions that includes commission rate. If there are any special promotions / bonus / offers as per the marketing plan (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly), it is the responsibility to get the approval from the Marketing Director and should be added into Student Management System (SMS).

·       Completing and managing the agent files that consists of contract/agreement, agent business documents and agent certificate to approved agents. It should be all managed in Student Management System (SMS) under Agent section of it.

·       Conduct education agents/consultants contract reviews every year.

·       Conduct and analyse the Student Feedback survey specific to agent services (at orientation and induction) to ensure satisfaction rate regarding services offered in various areas including but not limited to admission process, training services, marketing support, complaints, escalation requests etc.

·       Monitoring agent performance by conducting agent feedback survey specific to Orange services once every 6 months, regular training and meetings and negotiating with agents for agent support using survey and Agent’s PRISMS data reports.

·       Conduct education agent feedback survey once every 6 months including analysis of the survey and if required to take any appropriate actions.

·       Be responsible for managing the Business expense card and maintain the expense record (including invoices, record of participation as applicable) in Xero or provide information to accounts department. All the invoices are signed by the reporting staff member.

·       Develop monthly & annual sales report to analyse sale target and business growth.

·       May need to travel overseas to build relationship with consultants

·       Assist with student orientation/induction

·       Other admin related tasks as assigned


Additional Responsibilities:

·       Conduct research on market trends and conditions by analysing data from Department of Education, Austrade (MIP Subscription) and other sources such as PIE news, ICEF newsletters, ITECA to obtain information regarding goods and services (elements such as education courses in demand, student services, price index, latest market offers by competitors, countries to target, latest trends). Provide ongoing analysis to your reporting manager of competitor activity, including recruitment strategies, development of new courses and enrolment patterns. This information helps the company to update the marketing strategies.

·       Managing the Digital Marketing & all the Events at Orange International College along with the Digital Marketing & Events Coordinator (future position) which includes but not limited to looking after the organisation complete social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms, promotional videos, OIC website and all events conducted at OIC.

·       Assist and support in setting up the marketing processes & strategies with Marketing Director

 

TECHNICAL AND SPECIALIST SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

·       Experience in sales and marketing for either ELICOS/VET providers or education agents are strongly preferred

·       In-depth knowledge of the Australian Education industry- especially ELICOS

·       Understanding of business development, sales and marketing

·       Marketing skills to achieve sales results

·       Negotiation skills

·       Demonstrated potential in sales

·       Eligible long-term working visa in Australia

·       Ability to work under limited supervision and under pressure

·       Good organisational, planning and problem-solving skills

·       Computer skills to extract and enter information

·       Good verbal and written communication skills

·       Fluency in other languages applicable to relevant keys student markets (South America)
