Job Title: HR Assistant Manager

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: HR Manager


Job Summary:

The HR Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of HR functions within the organization. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks, employee relations, compliance, and supporting HR initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Initiate the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and initiating background verification.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Employee Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.
  • Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and termination letters.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist employees with benefits inquiries and enrollment.
  • Collaborate with benefits providers and manage benefits-related paperwork.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process by collecting and organizing performance-related data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts.
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain training records and track employee development progress.
  • HR Reporting: Generate HR reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes.
  • Assist HR Manager: Provide support to the HR Manager in various HR-related tasks and projects.
  • Serve as a backup in the absence of the HR Manager.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Previous HR experience, preferably in an executive role
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving skills


Note: The HR Assistant Manager may be required to perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed to support the HR department and the organization's overall objectives.
