Job Overview

Matglober Careers Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic student advisor to join our team. As a student advisor, you will be responsible for guiding and assisting students in their educational and career journeys. This is a full-time position based in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in student advising or a related role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of the education system and study-abroad opportunities
• Knowledge of visa requirements, immigration policies, and international student services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Passion for helping students achieve their educational goals
• Fluency in English and proficiency in local language

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding their education and career choices
• Assist students in selecting the right courses, universities, and programs based on their interests and goals
• Conduct seminars and workshops to educate students about study abroad opportunities and application processes
• Evaluate and assess students' academic and personal backgrounds to determine their eligibility for study abroad programs
• Guide students through the application and admission process, including document preparation, visa application, and interview preparation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends, policies, and regulations to provide accurate and relevant information to students
• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their study abroad journey, including orientation programs, cultural integration, and academic progress monitoring
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement effective student recruitment strategies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services by providing feedback and suggestions
