Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager for our Metal Finish Department to join our team in Moradabad. This is a mid-level, full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal finishing techniques, quality control, and team management to ensure high-quality production and efficient operations.

 Process Management:

 Oversee and manage metal finishing processes including nickel plating,

electrophoretic lacquer, powder coating, color spray lacquer, and polish buffing.

 Develop and implement efficient workflows and process improvements to enhance

quality and productivity.

 Quality Control:

 Establish and maintain quality standards for all metal finishing processes.

 Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure finished products meet specified

standards.

 Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to prevent defects and ensure

customer satisfaction.

 Material and Equipment Management:

 Manage the inventory of materials, chemicals, and equipment required for metal

finishing processes.

 Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal

performance and longevity.

 Team Leadership:

 Lead, train, and develop a team of technicians and operators in metal finishing

techniques and safety procedures.

 Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness within the team.

 Process Documentation:

 Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all metal finishing processes,

including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and

quality control records.

 Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards and

regulations.

 Cost Management:

 Monitor and control costs associated with metal finishing processes.

Job Description

 Prepare budgets and financial reports for the metal finishing department.

 Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.

 Safety and Compliance:

 Ensure all metal finishing operations comply with health, safety, and environmental

regulations.

 Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate

potential hazards.

 Customer Focus:

 Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical

support and expertise in metal finishing.

 Address customer feedback and complaints, implementing corrective actions to

ensure customer satisfaction.

Skills :

1. Proven experience in metal finishing, with specialization in nickel plating,

electrophoretic lacquer, powder coating, color spray lacquer, and polish buffing.

2. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and tools in metal

finishing.

3. Proficiency in developing and implementing SOPs and process documentation.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to metal finishing.
