Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our team. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining network security measures, troubleshooting network issues, and providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent problem-solving abilities, and has a deep understanding of network technologies.

Responsibilities:

Network Infrastructure Management:

·        Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

·        Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

·        Upgrade network equipment and software to meet evolving business needs.

·        Conduct regular network capacity planning and optimize network resources.

Network Security:

·        Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.

·        Monitor network traffic for security breaches and investigate any suspicious activities.

·        Manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices.

·        Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.

Network Troubleshooting and Support:

·        Respond to network-related incidents and resolve issues in a timely manner.

·        Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity problems, including LAN, WAN, and internet-related issues.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve network-related problems.

·        Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on network-related matters.

Network Documentation and Reporting:

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.

·        Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and troubleshooting activities.

·        Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose network improvements and optimizations.

Network Planning and Optimization:

·        Participate in network infrastructure planning and provide recommendations for network enhancements.

·        Identify areas of improvement in network performance and propose solutions.

·        Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·        Proven work experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role.

·        Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, etc.).

·        Experience in managing and configuring network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.

·        Proficiency in network troubleshooting tools and techniques.

·        Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.

·        Solid understanding of network monitoring and performance evaluation tools.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Industry certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
