Job Description:
We are looking to hire a National Sales Manager (NSM) for our group company based in Hyderabad. The job position is responsible for crafting strategies, managing budgets, and setting goals for the sales teams. The incumbent will ensure consistent brand messaging, analyze consumer behavior, and identify market expansion opportunities. NSM will be responsible for boosting brand awareness and profitability.
NSM will lead and direct the sales department, including digital marketing, advertising, communications, and creative teams. NSM will be required to develop sales plans, allocate resources, and set short-term and long-term goals. Besides the incumbent will have to show the ROI for all the efforts put in either man-hours or financial for achieving the targets set by management.
Responsibilities:
- Building brands and launching products seamlessly across all markets – regional and global.
- Craft strategies for all Sales teams, including but not limited to General Trade, Modern Trade and Exports, Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the Sales Department.
- Set, monitor and report on team goals.
- Set KPIs for sales teams and monitor performance.
- Design branding, positioning, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and sales efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material).
- Analyze consumer behavior and determine consumer personas.
- Identify gaps and work towards stabilizing the strengthen the existing market share.
- Identify opportunities in HORECA segment and devise strategy to expand our market into the same. HORECA industry is the hospitality sector that provides food, beverages, and lodging to customers
- Identify and making the needed process for minimizing the risk of payment delays.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
- Work on hiring and team KRA and KPI monitoring.
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
- Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company objectives.
- Reporting on the monthly and quarterly progress to the Management.
- MBA (Sales & Marketing) from a Tier2/3 management school
