Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Raipur. This full-time position requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure accurate cost analysis and effective financial management within the company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in cost analysis to ensure accurate financial insights and decision-making (Mandatory skill)
• Strong budgeting skills to develop, manage, and analyze financial plans and budgets (Mandatory skill)
• Expertise in financial reporting to provide comprehensive financial reports and statements (Mandatory skill)
• Proficient in variance analysis to identify and explain cost variances and implement corrective actions
• Experience in inventory management to effectively oversee and manage inventory costs
• Ability to develop and implement cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency
• Skilled in forecasting to predict future financial trends and prepare for potential financial changes
• Familiarity with ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy

• Review and analyze financial reports to provide insights on cost performance and recommend cost-saving measures
• Develop and maintain budgeting systems and procedures for the company
• Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from budget and suggest corrective actions
• Manage and oversee the company’s inventory costs to ensure cost-effective inventory management
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management for informed decision-making
• Implement cost control measures to achieve financial efficiency and meet financial targets
• Forecast future financial trends to assist in strategic financial planning
• Utilize ERP systems to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes
