Purpose of the Job

In the R&D Department, you are responsible fordevelopment of product/scouting of technology based product. You will engage with the internal stakeholders and map technologies to the business requirement and create product / solution that meets Business/ Customer requirement. You will activelystudy various latest technologies and be responsible for development of products to cater the industry needs and strategically negotiate the terms and conditions in favour of the project/ product.

 

Job involves end-to-end product development planning including but not limited to creating plans and strategy for development & execution, ensuring scaling for mass manufacturing, Technical evaluation of Hardware & Software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Identify new technology in Technology space, assess the feasibility and prepare the solution by coordinating with internal development or external development team.
  • Literature study includes design and development of new products, device characterization and efficiency/performance evaluation
  • Work with Product stakeholders to identify product requirements, collect technical inputs and shape the solutions
  • Should be able to create prototype of product, plan for mass manufacturing, and take ownership for successful deployment

·        Research on Intellectual property and patenting for product / solution

  • Identify & obtain required certifications for developing products by coordinating with internal / external entities
  • Scout for required technology and Analyse trends, identify growth areas, perform feasibility study and quantifying opportunities for new products development
  • Should manage team and groomteam members & handhold subordinates during project management / Product development
  • Should be able to work out techno commercial proposal & coordinate with internal teams for smooth project implementation.

Experience & Expertise

  • 8to 10years’ experience
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with strong presentation skills
  • Track record of taking highly complex projects in Technology solution space with cross functional challenges and problems
  • Ability to manage ambiguity in an evolving and dynamic environment and the ability to drive good trade off decisions based on business needs and constraints
  • Excellent problem-solver, able to quickly change direction based on business intelligence and/or strategic change
  • Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change
  • Knowledge on latest Technologies&exposure to Digital solutions / Wireless domain
  • Should be able to study tenders & work on Project/ Product as per requirement

·        Should be able to Identify criticalities/challenges in the project and implement corrective actions.

  • Should have good team management capability & ability to groom subordinate
  • Should have good knowledge on product development cycle & Project Management experience

 

 

Desirable (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience / exposure to development of Flexible electronic products & its use cases
  • Experience in Designing the product using standard software (PS, CorelDraw)

Qualification

B.E in CS / E&C / E&E

·        Maintain the confidentiality related with the projects / product.

·        Highly self-motivated and professional. Ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver high quality materials. 

·        Ability to work in fast- paced environment.

·        Ability to own the process for particular deliverable, understanding the deliverable in great detail and all its complexity.

·        Should try to establish credibility in technology, innovation and knowledge exchange networks within 1 years.

·        Added Advantage; if Preliminary experience in assessing R&D or functional area issues

·        And Understanding of product and equipment life cycle management.

·        Work well in a team, under pressure and deadlines with a high tolerance for ambiguity

·        Ability to rapidly gain/build trust and confidence of internal and external stakeholders
