General Manager Operations - Plant Head | Bahadurgarh | Full-time

Salary Range: Dependent on experience

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve production targets, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day factory operations, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, implement quality control measures, and drive a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of production managers, supervisors, and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implement safety protocols, and promote a culture of workplace safety among employees.
  • Cost Management: Monitor production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize factory operations and reduce expenses.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements, implement best practices, and drive initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality across the factory.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA degree in production management preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements ISO13485, CE, FDA, MD3, MD5, CDSCO are added advantage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other quality improvement tools is a plus.
