Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Production Supervisor with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team at Mahabell Industries. As a Senior Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production activities and ensuring smooth operations in our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Rural, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication process, machine shop process, product and drawing specifications, manpower handling, ISO and in-process quality activities, and machine scheduling and production planning.

Qualifications and Skills

• Tool and Die making / BE ( Mechanical)with Tool room, Fabrication and Machine shop process background / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar production supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication process and machine shop process (metal working).
• Familiarity with product and drawing specification importance.
• Proven experience in manpower handling and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and in-process quality activities.
• Proficient in machine scheduling and production planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products.
• Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to product and drawing specifications.
• Implement and maintain ISO standards and in-process quality activities.
• Oversee machine scheduling and production planning to maximize productivity.
• Manage and allocate manpower to different production tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines in the production area.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
