We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with expertise in PHP and WordPress to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting services to our clients and customers who use our PHP-based applications and WordPress websites. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our products and deliver exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support: Respond to customer inquiries and issues promptly via various channels such as email, phone, and ticketing system. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to PHP applications and WordPress websites.
Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Diagnose and debug issues reported by customers, identify the root cause, and propose appropriate solutions. Collaborate with the development team to resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles to assist customers in resolving common issues independently.
Customer communication: Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical customers. Provide clear and concise instructions to help customers implement solutions and optimize their PHP and WordPress setups.
Bug tracking and testing: Track reported issues using a bug tracking system, prioritize them based on severity and impact, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Conduct thorough testing of bug fixes and new features before deployment.
Continuous improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and advancements in PHP and WordPress. Make recommendations for product enhancements and process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role, with a focus on PHP and WordPress.

PHP proficiency: Strong working knowledge of PHP programming language and its frameworks . Experience with writing custom PHP code, debugging, and performance optimization.
WordPress expertise: In-depth understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and architecture. Experience in developing and customizing WordPress websites.
Troubleshooting skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
Customer-centric mindset: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail when analyzing issues, documenting solutions, and testing bug fixes.
