Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Placement Officer/Placement Coordinator to join our team, focusing on enhancing employability and securing job placements for our beneficiaries. This is a mid-level, full-time position based in Hyderabad, Chennai, or Bangalore Urban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, communication, and recruitment, and will be committed to supporting our mission to enable youth to break free from poverty.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in networking (Mandatory skill).
- Exemplary communication skills (Mandatory skill).
- Recruitment experience (Mandatory skill).
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster connections with employers and stakeholders.
- Competent in data analysis to track and report on placement activities and outcomes.
- Effective negotiation skills to secure job opportunities for programme beneficiaries.
- Problem-solving abilities to address and overcome placement-related challenges.
- Sales skills to advocate for programme participants and their potential to prospective employers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with educational institutions, employers, and community organizations to identify and secure job placement opportunities for programme participants.
- Lead recruitment drives, job fairs, and campus placements to connect beneficiaries with suitable job openings.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to participants, assisting them in making informed career choices.
- Maintain accurate records of placements and provide regular reports to management on placement outcomes and challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to understand their hiring needs and promote the organization’s trainees as potential employees.
- Monitor and support the post-placement progress of beneficiaries to ensure their successful integration into the workforce.
- Organize training workshops and sessions to enhance the employability skills of participants.
- Continuously assess and improve placement strategies to maximize successful outcomes for programme recipients.
