Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Placement Officer/Placement Coordinator to join our team, focusing on enhancing employability and securing job placements for our beneficiaries. This is a mid-level, full-time position based in Hyderabad, Chennai, or Bangalore Urban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, communication, and recruitment, and will be committed to supporting our mission to enable youth to break free from poverty.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience in networking (Mandatory skill).
  • Exemplary communication skills (Mandatory skill).
  • Recruitment experience (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster connections with employers and stakeholders.
  • Competent in data analysis to track and report on placement activities and outcomes.
  • Effective negotiation skills to secure job opportunities for programme beneficiaries.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address and overcome placement-related challenges.
  • Sales skills to advocate for programme participants and their potential to prospective employers.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with educational institutions, employers, and community organizations to identify and secure job placement opportunities for programme participants.
  • Lead recruitment drives, job fairs, and campus placements to connect beneficiaries with suitable job openings.
  • Provide career counseling and guidance to participants, assisting them in making informed career choices.
  • Maintain accurate records of placements and provide regular reports to management on placement outcomes and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to understand their hiring needs and promote the organization’s trainees as potential employees.
  • Monitor and support the post-placement progress of beneficiaries to ensure their successful integration into the workforce.
  • Organize training workshops and sessions to enhance the employability skills of participants.
  • Continuously assess and improve placement strategies to maximize successful outcomes for programme recipients.
