Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Placement Manager to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time, mid-level position suitable for professionals with 4 to 6 years of experience in a relevant field. The Placement Manager will play a crucial role in linking our trained youths with job opportunities and ensuring their successful placement and post-placement support.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in placement roles or similar fields.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Strong corporate connections to facilitate job placements for our trained youths.
  • Excellent convincing skills to engage employers and candidates successfully.
  • Expertise in job mapping according to job openings, providing better placement matches.
  • Aptitude for youth counseling to guide them in their career paths and jobs suitability.
  • Proficiency in data analytics for tracking placement success and improving strategies.
  • Ability and willingness to network with engineering colleges and other educational institutes.
  • Willingness to travel as per the job's requirements to various locations.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify job openings and map them to the skillsets of the young people trained by Magic Bus.
  • Liaise with various corporates and organizations to establish partnerships for job placements.
  • Coordinate with the training teams to ensure that the youths are adequately prepared for job interviews.
  • Provide post-placement support to ensure the sustainability of the job placements.
  • Analyze placement data and use insights to improve future placement strategies.
  • Organize and conduct job fairs, placement drives, and campus recruitment activities.
  • Counsel young people on career choices and placement opportunities.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on the progress and success of the placement initiatives.
