Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and talented Android Developer to join our team at Lofaz, a multi-vendor e-commerce website. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing features for our Android app. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and we are looking for a candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience in Android development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Understanding of Google Play Store guidelines and app distribution process.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality software.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs and performance issues.
