Description

The group of consultants will work closely with Finance SMEs from our Core Working Group to deliver the following:

• Finalize and Document Data Verification Requirement (Granularity, fields / attributes to validate, scenarios, period / history) for each Object identified in scope for the Migration Project.  This will be done focusing on ONE TIME VALIDATION
• Conduct One Time Data Validation between various sources and the target (relevant UDL Objects that have been ingested).
• Prepare a list of checks conducted for each object, log all scenarios, errors, mismatches, and fixes.  Arrive at a Data Validation Rulebook.  This rulebook will be the input feed for Architecture Teams to help us build automation for ongoing validations.
• A sound functional understanding of Finance Data Object Models, metrics and measures

Skills Required:

• Hands on experience of dealing with Data Quality checks and validations with large Finance Data Objects in a heterogenous technology landscape.
• Strong understanding of SAP ECC Tables relating to FI and CO.
• Good understanding of Finance processes and Finance artifacts such as: Profit & Loss, Actual data, Forecast Data, Budget Data, Consolidation Data, Gross Margin Variance, Material Ledger, Cost Control, Balance Sheet etc)
• Fundamental SQL Scripting experience
• Basic experience on working with Data Bricks
• A sound functional understanding of Finance Data Object Models, metrics and measures
