We have a position open for Senior Fund-Raising Manager for an NGO at Yelahanka, Bangalore.


Job Title: Senior Manager, Fundraising

Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore.

Reports to: Director of Development

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Position Overview:

Responsible for New corporate and individual donor relationship cultivation, focus on

opportunities under the India CSR Act. Responsibilities will include identifying prospective

donors and developing a pipeline of prospective donors, making presentations, proposal

development, submission and reporting and relationship stewardship. Responsible for

developing an Annual Fundraising Strategy, implementing the same and meeting fundraising

targets. This role requires a dynamic, experienced professional with a proven track record in

non-for-profit fundraising, donor relations, strategic planning, researching potential funding

opportunities and networking with stakeholders.


Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following

Objectives of this role

  • Develop new fundraising opportunities
  • Promote awareness of the organization’s mission and work
  • Cultivate a network of dedicated donors
  • Plan fundraising initiatives/Raise funds to help the organization meet financial goals
  • Form strong relationships with external stakeholders


Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy Development: Developing and implementing a comprehensive

fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals that involves identifying

and exploring new fundraising opportunities, such as corporate partnerships,

individual donors, foundations, and grant opportunities. Thereby, raising funds to

meet the organization financial goals.

Donor Management: To cultivate and maintain relationships with potential donors,

manage donor recognition and stewardship programs to enhance donor retention

and satisfaction.

Proposal Development: Prepare high-quality grant proposals, presentations, and

other materials to effectively communicate our work and value proposition to

donors. Develop proposal narratives, budgets, and supporting documents that

clearly articulate proposed projects or programs' needs, objectives, and expected

outcomes.

Quality: Ensure the quality of funding proposals are submitted on time and meet the

expectation of the donor.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Director Development, CEO, CFO, and other key

stakeholders to align fundraising efforts with the company’s strategic objectives

Event Management: Overseeing the planning and execution of fundraising events to

ensure they meet financial and engagement objectives, while working with external

partners and volunteers to ensure the success of these events.

Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent the organization at industry

events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Build a strong professional

network and actively seek potential partnerships and collaborations.

Record weekly all prospect and donor activity in E tapestry (MIS tracking software)

and utilize this system to report monthly fundraising activities and progress towards

annual goals and objectives.

Understand and ensure compliance with the Organizations Policy and Operations

Manual in the areas of Fundraising, Marketing, Communications and PR.

All other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s in business/ marketing.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Non for Profit fundraising
  • Experience in Corporate sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and
  • professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Salary: Upto 70k CTC PM

Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore
